Wow! It's been awhile since I visited this place and I can't believe why I waited so long. The food here is amazing!! The fish was very fresh and the portions they provide are very generous. It's a very clean restaurant with a diverse menu and surprisingly was crowded for a Wednesday evening (a reflection of it's popularity). This is a legit Japanese restaurant! However, what stood out the most was the amazing customer service provided by the several waitress staff; despite how busy it was, they were very attentive and just supper nice people. I definitely will come back again more often.

As someone living in Mountain View, this is the best sushi you can get for a good price. Specifically, their creative rolls never disappoint and are constantly high quality. My favorites are the Sex on the Mountain, Goku, and DBZ rolls. Bonus points for the fun names originating from Dragon Ball :) If you come during lunch time their bento boxes are a good deal too and will leave you full for the whole day. If you order to-go, I have found the tonkatsu or the galbi ribs to not be as good -- but would recommend instead the mackerel and sashimi/rolls.

Really good sushi rolls. They're about $14 for a fancy roll and $8 for a basic roll. It is pretty crowded dine in but the wait was still short about 10 minutes wait. You can call ahead for reservations. There is a parking lot behind the building if you cannot find street parking. Kids meals are only $10, and comes with soup and ice cream.

Good food and good price... especially for sushi/Japanese. It is slightly off the Main Street, so it is less crowded and easier to find parking. A huge bonus for us is that they were willing to accept a reservation... for 14 of us! :) My kids enjoy their food - and they have kids meals that are tailored perfectly to them. Servers are friendly and attentive. And happy to make recommendations if you don't know what to get. While you cannot enter from the parking lot at the rear, you can exit that way.

Visited the restaurant for the first time yesterday during the rain. There was no wait time and it was so cozy inside! I loved the layout and the atmosphere. The choices on the menu are various and there were even items I've not seen on any other menus so I'll definitely some back to try new things! The prices were very reasonable and the portions were good, while the food itself was delicious. Also, very nice waiters who checked in on us a were very helpful. Happy New Years, I'll be definitely back in 2025 :)

The best sushi place around and it's our go-to. Bento is priced as expected, but for lunch is nearly the same menu and a fair bit cheaper. Very big and filling meal. The fish quality matches the price and the grilled fish isn't dry. The miso is a bit sweet, but it's fine. There is usually never a wait.

I visited the restaurant on a weekend around 6 PM, narrowly beating the rush hour. We got a table for two right away, which was great. The downside was that it was close to the table next to us. It is a popular restaurant so to make up for the customer demands, they had to maximize their space and put guests close to one another. I do not mind it, but it's something I wanted to mention if someone prefers more space. Food-wise, we ordered Katsu-don donburi, Sex on the Mountain Roll, Pudding Roll, and Spider Roll. First off, these are great prices for the amount you are getting. The pudding roll was quite basic, but I still enjoyed it. Sex on the Mountain had a good amount of fish and was worth it in my opinion. My boyfriend loved his Spider roll and donburi. The donburi was a bit salty for me. Even though the place was busy, the staff checked on us occasionally. It did seem like they are slightly understaffed for the number of customers; however, idk if the place can accommodate even more staff given the minimal space. Overall, I enjoy the quality, quantity, and presentation of the food so I'll still come back, despite the bustling nature of the restaurant. Next time I visit, I'll try a different day of the week to see if it is a bit less hectic.

I got the sushi combo D and it was pretty valuable for the price! In general, I would say the quantity of food you get is fairly cheap compared to other Japanese places. Granted, this place isn't super authentic as it had Korean influence, but I think my friends mostly liked what they got! My tuna wasn't the freshest out of the other fish, but wasn't terrible. The waitress was extremely kind but fumbled a lot with what we ordered and kept on coming back to confirm what we ordered was correct. It also took us a while to get the check after asking. Just as a tip, if you have 8 or more people, gratuity of 20% is automatically added, which is what happened to us.

We loved it so much first time around, we came back within a month with the rest of the family and everyone was very pleased with the choice again!! The restaurant feels like an authentic Japanese one and they have a couple of TV monitors running Japanese stations. Not something you see often!! We opted for the agedashi tofu and chicken Karaage for appetizers and rolls of very creative sushi to share as our meal. Chicken Karaage was juicy and crispy and agedashi tofu tasted good (not the best ever)! We shared 5 of their fancy rolls and they were all as great as the first time around and served in a timely manner. The service is super good and fast. The team works fast and efficiently. Will definitely come back again with the rest of the family.
